How we hire

Applying for a role with us is an experience, not a chore. 83% of applicants tell us they enjoyed our unique and interactive application process.

What makes our recruitment process different, well scroll down and find out. Heck, why not even check it out for yourself!

cvs are so last century

CVs are so last century and getting you to answer the bog-standard questions can only tell us so much. To get to know the real you we start our recruitment process with an automated chat-based interview (mobile friendly of course and completely clear of any bias). The chat takes less than 20 minutes to complete and can be arranged at a time to suit you! You can even complete it in parts if you decide to make yourself a cuppa halfway through.

After you complete your application, you will receive a personalised feedback report highlighting your strengths, along with some coaching tips… Cool, right? Well, that’s what 73% of our applicants reported back to us, saying they felt more self-aware following their individual report.

digest initial feedback

While you digest your initial feedback, our humans (recruitment team – no robots here) review your application and if we think you’re a good fit then we’ll be in touch to invite you to the next stage of our interview process, either by phone or face-to-face. Get through that and we’ll be asking you to sign on the dotted line.

The whole process from you starting your application to receiving your job offer and starting your role can all happen within just 48 hours! So, who knows, we could be welcoming you on board this week!

If you’re looking for an exciting new challenge or a change in direction, but want to avoid the mundane, soul-destroying standard interview process – look no further, we’re here and waiting for you.

Hints and Tips for Candidates

  • Find a quiet space where you won’t be distracted. You should allow between 20-30 minutes to complete your Chat Interview.
  • Make sure you have a stable internet connection, and if you’re using a handheld device like your phone or laptop, make sure it’s fully charged.
  • You should aim for your responses to be between 50 and 100 words per question asked. You are limited to 150 words in each of your responses
  • Be sure to check your spelling and grammar. It’s easy to make typos so reviewing your responses to each question before submitting is important.
  • Draw upon your personal and professional experiences when providing examples in your responses. These don’t need to be work experiences. They can be from school, family, friendships, or hobbies also.
  • Take your time. Chat Interview is not timed and you are not penalized for how long it takes.
  • Feel free to save and come back to your Chat Interview if you need to. When you start your Chat Interview, you’ll receive an email with a link to go back to your saved answers, so you don’t need to start again, and you won’t lose your submission.
  • Don’t copy answers! Chat Interview checks for plagiarism from various internet sources.
  • Most importantly, be yourself! Be sure to show your personality and who you are in your responses, as this is what is counts.
